Day Trading - Trend Following Techniques

Trend following in trading is a method of identifying a direction a stock has been moving (Up or Down) for a reassuring period of time and entering a position that supports the direction. Buying if a stock is on the rise and selling if the stock is falling.

Stocks can be trending downwards or upwards and money can be made in both directions.

Trend followers just follow the direction and ride the wave jumping out when they get indication that the trend may change.
